Nothing says “almost done” like discovering the very last item on a roof project is getting the attic fan connected! 😄 Thankfully, Chris at Protek Electric came to the rescue. Our Generac was installed incorrectly by a previous electrician. Chris came out on a Saturday and spent hours making the corrections that were necessary to get our Generac running. Chris refused to leave until the job was done and done right. This is one of the best, if not the best experience I have had with a service provider. I like this Gentleman, he said 8am and he was here at 8am.  He was direct and started to figure out my problems. Once he completed his diagnosis, he told me what he needed to do. Worked and completed in a timely manner. My Generac 24KW is now fully functional once again. He complete a load test with no problems. He also uploaded the latest S/W for my unit. I had called Protek when my original authorized dealer, who installed my generator, told me he was too busy to come back and do the first year maintenance. Chris from Protek was awesome. He is very professional, on time and has excellent communication. A couple of days before he was to come to do the annual maintenance, I had noticed that my generator had a failed start during it's weekly test run, I tried several times to get it started with no luck. I reached out to Chris prior to our appointment informing him of the issue I was having and he said no problem I'll make sure I have the tools I need with me to diagnose the problem. On the day of our appointment Chris was able to diagnose the problem and get the unit running again and complete the annual maintenance. Instead of leaving it like that he went above and beyond and he got the needed repairs covered under the warranty and ordered the new part. He returned a couple of days later with the replacement part and was in and out in about an hour.
